Share Your Knowledge
We have a variety of speaking opportunities at events in the School of Business Administration each year. We would love to host an executive from your organization as a guest speaker or panelist.
PSU/SBA Mentor Program
The PSU/SBA Mentor Program is designed to provide an opportunity for students to gain clarity on their career goals and develop their own business network through a mentor relationship with a business professional. Mentors serve multiple roles for a student - friend, coach, colleague, and teacher. With the guidance and support of a mentor, students are given opportunities to observe the work environment, learn about the range of career opportunities available within a profession or company, and develop confidence in interacting with business professionals.
Corporate Partners
Corporate Partners are key to the success of the School of Business Administration. It is through this essential partnership between the SBA and companies wishing to provide financial support to the school that we can continue to achieve our vision of becoming a nationally renowned school of business administration, while improving the quality of education in the Graduate Business Programs at Portland State University.
Corporate Partners contribute $2,500 or more annually to any fund within the SBA, supporting areas such as endowed professorships and scholarships, the Food Industry Leadership Center, the Business Outreach Program, the Fund for Excellence, the Accounting Program, the Advertising Program and more.
Fund for Excellence
The Fund for Excellence is the annual giving program that provides the Dean of the PSU School of Business Administration with the ability to enhance academic programs. These programs make the crucial difference between an adequate education and a truly first-rate education.
The Fund is comprised of annual contributions made by alumni, companies and friends of the SBA. The dollars raised through the Fund for Excellence go directly to where the need is the greatest and assists the SBA in the creation of innovative projects that the raise the quality of education at the SBA, including:
- Enhancing Student Programs - The Fund for Excellence supports student programs both in the classroom and beyond. Contributions are used toward programs and initiatives that are essential in preparing our students to become leaders in the region's economy.
